Industrial Wastewater Treatment

Modern sewage treatment technology can be divided into primary, secondary and tertiary treatment processes according to the degree of treatment. Primary treatment of sewage applies physical methods, such as sieving, sedimentation, etc., to remove insoluble suspended solids and floating substances in sewage. Secondary treatment of sewage mainly applies biological treatment methods, that is, the process of material transformation through the metabolism of microorganisms, which oxidizes and degrades various complex organic matter in sewage into simple substances. Biological treatment has certain requirements for sewage water quality, water temperature, dissolved oxygen in the water, pH value, etc. Tertiary treatment of sewage is based on primary and secondary treatment, using physical and chemical methods such as coagulation, filtration, ion exchange, and reverse osmosis to remove insoluble organic matter, phosphorus, nitrogen and other nutrients in sewage. The composition of pollutants in sewage is very complex, and a combination of the above methods is often required to meet treatment requirements.
